A Dane County judge has ordered a competency hearing for a man accused of beating an elderly woman in her home. The incident happened last week in the town of Dunn. A Wednesday preliminary hearing for 33-year-old Joshua Radewan was delayed when the judge called for the competency hearing. Prosecutors say Radewan broke into the 78-year-old woman’s home last week and beat her, causing injuries requiring several stitches to her head and face. A date for the competency hearing hasn’t been set.
