It was an ugly day for pitchers.
The stumbling Cincinnati Reds – with the worst record in Major League Baseball – became the slugging Reds while taking two out of three from the Brewers.
Cincinnati won Wednesday afternoon’s game 14-11 despite five Milwaukee home runs and Christian Yelich hitting for the cycle.
The Reds scored the first seven runs of the game but a six-run rally by the Brewers in the ninth brought everyone to the edge of their seats.
Yelich went four-for-five with three runs batter in and Hunter Renfroe belted a pair of home runs.
Adrian Houser took the loss.
Milwaukee takes today off, then travels to Miami for a weekend series.
