A judge has ruled a 28-year-old woman who shot an Oconto Falls police officer during a confrontation last year is competent to stand trial.
Alisha Kocken faces a charge of attempted first-degree intentional homicide and eight other counts.
Police had been called to a home in Oconto Falls last August.
Kocken and Officer Nicole Blaskowski were struggling when police say Kocken grabbed the officer’s gun and shot her in the head.
Blaskowski has been released from the hospital.
