MPSD School Board President Stacey Soeldner
The newly elected President of the Manitowoc Public School District’s Board of Education has released a statement regarding their search for a new superintendent.
In a statement posted on the MPSD website, Board President Stacy Soeldner explained that they would be hiring someone to fill the role in an interim role to take over for the departing Mark Holzman, who is taking a similar job in Janesville.
The interim superintendent, who has not yet been hired, will begin as early as July and will keep the position until the Board hires a full-time superintendent.
In the statement, Soeldner says “We will be using a search firm to assist us in this process and hope to choose the search firm within the next couple of weeks. The School Board is committed to keeping you updated on this process.”
