One good thing to come out of the Russian invasion of Ukraine is the fact that people all over the world, including here in Wisconsin, have shown their giving nature in support of those affected.
One of the most well-known examples is the Door County Candle Company, which began selling blue and yellow candles and giving the profits in support of Ukrainian aid.
Now, they are asking for the public’s help.
The Sturgeon Bay-based candle makers went to social media, where they said that they are “in desperate need of volunteers” to help them clean candle jars, trim wicks, and help pack the candles.
