A Manitowoc man is facing five charges after he reportedly sexually assaulted several runaway children.
One victim reported the assaults to the Manitowoc County Department of Human Services on April 28th, which then informed the Manitowoc Police Department.
The victim told the officers that the 22-year-old man was aware of her age, and the fact that she was a runaway.
They also revealed that the man has had multiple inappropriate sexual contacts with juvenile females.
The man was reportedly giving these young women a place to stay but threatened to force them back onto the streets if they did not engage in sexual acts with him.
He also reportedly forced the females to parade in front of his roommate naked and would choke them during the assaults.
Some of these acts were recorded on the man’s phone, which he then distributed to others.
Numerous charges have been filed, including 1st Degree Sexual Assault without Consent, Lewd/Lascivious Acts of Sex Gratification in the Presence of Others, Sexual Intercourse with a Child Age 16 or Older, Sexual Exploitation of a Child, and Strangulation.
