The Raise the Roof fundraising event for Habitat for Humanity Lakeside is being called a huge success on every front.
Not only did those in attendance have a great time on April 22nd, but according to Niki Zohrab, the organization’s Executive Director, they were able to raise $53,000.
In an email to Seehafer News, Zohrab said “We are so grateful for your ongoing faith and support in helping us build homes, communities, and hope throughout Sheboygan County.”
Up next for the local Habitat for Humanity subsidiary, on top of their continued repairs to homes, will be their Rock the Block weekend in September.
They also have three new homes scheduled for construction in the near future.
