Three people were injured when a second-story porch collapsed during the Mifflin Street Party Saturday in Madison.
Two of the three required hospital treatment.
No names have been released.
One witness says they heard the deck start to crack and give way, they turned, and saw “the whole thing come down.”
Police Chief Shon Barnes says porch inspections were completed before the annual party.
About 45 people were arrested during the party up and down Madison’s Mifflin Street.
One was taken to the Dane County Jail.
Two officers suffered minor injuries.
