A Door County jury has convicted a man of killing his wife 47 years ago.
86-year-old Richard Pierce was found guilty at the end of a two-week trial.
Carol Jean Piece went missing in 1975 and her body has never been found.
Richard Pierce claims she left him, but prosecutors pointed out to the court how he benefited from her death.
Pierce will be sentenced in August for the convictions on charges of first-degree intentional homicide and disinterment of the dead.
