
Police in Green Bay are investigating a homicide from over the weekend.
Officers were called to the intersection of Western and Perkins Avenues on a report of shots being fired at around 5:05 a.m. on Saturday.
When they arrived, the officers located the body of a 34-year-old man with severe injuries.
They attempted life-saving measures, but the yet unidentified man was unable to be revived.
The area was cordoned off as the GBPD Forensic Unit was called to the scene.
The incident is believed to have been an isolated one, but the GBPD is advising citizens to be aware of their surroundings and to report suspicious activity.
