
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers’ three-game losing streak has come to an end thanks to a 6-2 victory last night in Peoria Illinois.
The Appleton-based Rattlers held a 1-0 lead entering the 7th inning before exploding for 5 runs and held on to topple the Chiefs.
1st baseman Wes Clarke and shortstop Antonio Pinero each connected for home runs, while 3rd baseman Zavier Warren also picked up a pair of hits.
Starting pitcher Brandon Knarr threw for six spectacular innings, only giving up 2 hits and striking out 7 to get the win.
Game 4 of the six-game series at Dozer Park is scheduled for 6:35 this evening with Antoine Kelly slotted to get the start for the Rattlers.
