A non-profit organization in Green Bay has been the target of thieves over the past six months.
Over that time frame, five catalytic converters on vehicles belonging to ASPIRO have been stolen.
The first one was taken in November of last year, and two more were taken shortly thereafter.
The organization then moved its vehicles inside a fence.
That didn’t stop these determined thieves, as three weeks ago, they cut open the fence and took another two catalytic converters, bringing the grand total up to five.
ASPIRO uses the vehicles to transport adults with special needs every day, so these seemingly targeted attacks are making their jobs much more difficult.
The Green Bay Police Department is looking into the thefts.
