The first pick of the 2022 NFL Draft will be announced a couple of minutes after 7:00 tonight in Las Vegas.
The Green Bay Packers are loaded with what they call “draft capital” this year.
The Packers have two first-round picks, two second-round picks, and a total of 11 draft picks going into the weekend.
General Manager Brian Gutekunst could use all of those picks to fill the Green Bay roster with young talent – or he could follow his usual path by doing some trading.
The potential of the college players moving on to the pro is deep this time and Gutekunst could decide to give up some of the early picks to focus on the second and third days.
He’s had a lot of success with late-round choices in the first few drafts.
