The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are looking to shrug off a poor performance in their latest home game today as they travel to Peoria Illinois to take on the Chiefs.
The last time the Rattlers played, they were embarrassed by the Quad Cities River Bandits in front of their home crowd 18-1.
Russell Smith is the announced starting pitcher for the Brewers High-A Affiliate.
In the six and one-third innings he has pitched, Smith has struck out seven batters, and has an ERA of 7.11.
As of this morning, the Chiefs have not announced their starter.
First pitch at Dozer Park is scheduled for7:05 p.m.
