It is a reality for the Chicago Bulls after two lopsided NBA playoff losses at home – DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine can’t do it all.
When the Bucks’ defense clamped down on that due in the games on Friday and Sunday there was no one left on the bench to take up the slack.
DeRozan had 41 points in the Bulls’ only victory and that was 36-percent of his team’s total offense.
He was held to 11 points in game-three.
It shouldn’t be a surprise.
Chicago’s bench was last in the NBA in nearly every offensive category, including points per game, field goal percentage, and 3-point percentage.
The Bulls bench has produced 57 points in four games while reserve guard Grayson Allen poured in 49 points in the last two games by himself.
The Bucks could clinch the series with a Wednesday win.
