The Manitowoc County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to gather this evening.
They will be in the County Board Room in the Heritage Center at 6:00 p.m., where they will start with several proclamations.
County Executive Bob Ziegelbauer and Board Chair Tyler Martell will be proclaiming May as Foster Care Month, honoring 50 years of Heart-a-Rama, and the life and service of both David E. Gauger and Marie B. Kohlbeck.
The Board will also appoint new members to fill vacant seats on numerous boards and committees.
Bonnie Timm is joining the Board of adjustment, Annette Kaminsky is being added to the Board of Health, Nancy Newberg is filling a term on the Expo Ice Center Board, and Laurie Burke is being reinstated on the Human Services Board while Donna Bruns is starting her first term on the Board.
Also, Josh Strandal is being reinstated on the Joint Dispatch Board, and the Transportation Coordinating Committee will be filled with the appointment of Cindy Neelis.
