A banquet to honor the success of the Roncalli High School state champion boys basketball team took place Sunday evening at Silver Valley Banquet Hall.
Following dinner, Jets head coach Joe Garceau handed out varsity team awards including Joseph Witczak and Luke Pautz-Co-Captains, Reece Stangel-Most Improved, Brayden Reimer-Best Work Ethic, Brayden Yanda-Defensive MVP, Luke Pautz-Offensive MVP, Ryan Fischer-Mr. Clutch and Witczak was recognized as the Glue Guy on the team.
Roncalli (26-3) ended the season with a Gold Ball after defeating favored Milwaukee Academy of Science in the Division-4 championship game at the Kohl Center on Saturday, March 19th.
Luke Pautz was named first team All-State by the Associated Press, while Joe Garceau was named AP Coach of the Year.
