Two instrumentalists at Manitowoc Lincoln High School have been honored by a statewide organization.
Bassist Noah Ireland and Saxophonist Cody LaFond have been selected to be a part of the Wisconsin School Music Association State Honors Orchestra.
Each year, the WSMA invites students in grades 9, 10, and 11 to audition for the Honors Orchestra, in which the students will participate in an intensive four-day summer camp in June and perform in Madison during late October as part of the Wisconsin State Music Conference.
This year’s concerts will be held at Overture Hall in Madison on October 27th and the 28th.
They will also be aired on Wisconsin Public Radio and PBS at a later date.
