Authorities in Fond du Lac County have reported that a body was found partially submerged in Lake Winnebago yesterday afternoon.
A citizen reported the discovery at around 4:00 p.m. just off of Lakeshore Drive in the Town of Friendship.
Sheriff’s Office deputies, detectives, and investigators responded to the scene and confirmed that the individual was an adult male.
The Medical Examiner will be conducting an autopsy today and will confirm his identity.
The investigation is still ongoing, with more information expected soon.
