
A motor vehicle crash in Sheboygan County over the weekend claimed the lives of two people.
According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred on State Highway 57 and County Highway MM in the Town of Rhine at around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday.
The preliminary investigation indicated that a northbound vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a southbound vehicle head-on.
It is not clear how many people were in each vehicle, but we do know that one person from each vehicle passed away.
The incident also caused two secondary crashes as people approached the crash site.
The crash is still under investigation, and the names of those involved have not been released.
