Monroe Man Arrested During Drug Raid

Monroe police and members of the State Line Area Narcotics Team Task Force report the arrest of a 26-year-old man during a drug raid.  A search warrant was executed at a home Tuesday morning at 10:15 a-m.  Richard Ward was taken into custody and charged with delivery of heroin, recklessly endangering safety, maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He’s being held in the Green County Jail.  Authorities say the action came as part of a long-term investigation into heroin trafficking.
