Despite being down seven runs going into the bottom of the 7th inning, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers were able to mount a dramatic comeback and defeat the Quad Cities River Bandits 10-9.
The comeback was spurred on by a grand slam by catcher Wes Clarke in the bottom of the 7th inning, which was followed in the 8th by a two-run blast by outfielder Sal Frelick.
Tyler Gillies and James Meeker closed out the game on the mound, and the Rattlers scored two more in the 9th to secure the home-field win.
The Appleton-based Rattlers look to make it three in a row this evening, as they again take on the River Bandits at Fox Cities Stadium.
First pitch in game three of the six-game set is scheduled for 6:40 p.m.
