Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb says he and his family had moved five times since he left Green Bay in 2018.
Cobb says he decided he wants to have some stability for his kids and that’s why he agreed to take a $5 million pay cut to stay with the green-and-gold.
That move by the 32-year-old veteran helped the Packers deal with a restrictive salary cap situation.
He played a dozen games last season, catching 28 passes for 375 yards and five touchdowns.
Right now, he’s the most reliable target Aaron Rodgers has onboard for the 2022 NFL season, but the draft and some possible trades may change that.
