Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff looks like himself again.
Woodruff had a bad spring training, but the two-time All-Star has recaptured the magic, carrying a no-hitter into the sixth inning of Wednesday’s 4-2 win over Pittsburgh.
That completed Milwaukee’s sweep of the three-game series and extended the winning streak to four in a row.
Rowdy Tellez homered for the second straight game and Keston Hiura cemented the victory with a three-run shot in the seventh.
Josh Hader claimed his sixth save with a scoreless ninth inning.
The Brewers take today off, then travel to Philadelphia for a weekend series.
Freddy Peralta starts the first game Friday.
