Just days after the City of Manitowoc announced the timeline for the transition of the downtown roadways into two-way traffic, Sheboygan has done the same, albeit on a much smaller scale.
The section of South 24th Street between Indiana and Georgia Avenues will become a two-way street starting today.
The change was approved at Monday’s Common Council Meeting as it is expected to elevate some traffic issues in the area that have arisen as crews reconstruct Indiana Avenue.
As part of the change, motorists will not be allowed to park on the west side of that section of South 24th Street.
