Officials at the Department of Workforce Development say Wisconsin’s job growth hit record levels in March.
Unemployment dropped to 2.8 percent and the 3,056,200 people who are employed are an all-time high for the Badger State.
Wisconsin’s labor force participation of 66 percent is four points higher than the national average, and the state’s gross domestic product also set records.
D.W.D. chief economist Dennis Winters says, “The state of Wisconsin is a hard-working crowd.”
