Emergency responders were called to Camp Randall Stadium Wednesday morning when a construction worker was hurt on the job.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
He suffered serious injuries when a fire broke out at about 8:00 a.m.
The Madison Fire Department says the first crews made it to the scene in two minutes but the flames had been extinguished by the time they got there.
Paramedics stabilized the injured man and he was taken to a hospital.
University of Wisconsin police are investigating the cause of the fire.
