Taylor D. Schabusines
A woman accused of a brutal murder in Green Bay will be undergoing a second psychiatric evaluation.
24-year-old Taylor Schabusiness was in court yesterday where the judge declared her competent to stand trial but ordered the second evaluation anyway after the defense asked for one.
Defense Attorney Quinn Jolly said he was “surprised” at the result of the first one.
While Judge Tom Walsh approved a second evaluation, he gave the defense 30 days to come up with their own funding so as to not have the taxpayers foot the bill a second time.
The next hearing is scheduled for May 10th.
Schabusiness is facing charges of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, Mutilating a Corpse, and 3rd Degree Sexual Assault for the killing of Shad Thyrion in late February.
