
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers’ bats were working well yesterday, as they picked up a 6-3 win over the Beloit Sky Carp.
The Rattlers accumulated 10 hits en route to the Midwest League victory.
Carlos Rodriguez had a big night at the plate, accounting for three hits, and a run scored, while Zavier Warren batted a pair of balls driving in a run, and Darrien Miller batted in a pair of runs on two hits.
On the mound, Antoine Kelly got the start, earning 9 strikeouts, but also allowing a pair of runs.
Miguell Guerrero came on in relief in the 4th to get the last out and struck out four in his three innings of work to get the win.
Robbie Baker and Cam Robinson split the final two and one-third innings, allowing a combined one runner on the bases, and Robinson earned the save.
The two teams will square off in game two of their six game series at 6:45 this evening in Beloit.
