Freshman guard Lorne Bowman is leaving the Badgers basketball program and moving closer to his Detroit home.
Bowman averaged three points in 22 games, playing just over 10 minutes a game.
His last appearance was in the Big Ten Conference game against Indiana February 15th – then he missed the rest of the season due to a “non-COVID-related illness.”
He entered the transfer portal previously and will reportedly join the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies next season.
He had averaged 25 points a game for St. Mary’s High School in Detroit as a senior.
