The Manitowoc Golden K Kiwanis Club has announced the dates of its’ annual Lily Drive.
Philip Stangel of the local service organization tells us that the drive is scheduled to take place this coming Friday and Saturday (April 15th and ‘16th) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at several area grocery stores.
Stangel explains that the Lily Drive raises money for disabled children to attend Camp Wawbeek in Wisconsin Dells.
The Golden K makes donations in the form of scholarships to attend the camp.
Local residents can make a donation this weekend at one of three locations: Manitowoc Piggly Wiggly, Pick N’ Save, and Festival Foods.
