The topic of funding for a couple of major projects will be discussed this evening in Two Rivers.
First, the City Council will gather at 5:15 p.m. in the Council Chambers to look over a prospective Idle Site Grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation for the apartment project at 606 Parkway Boulevard, the former Paragon Partners property.
Then at 5:30 p.m. the Plan Commission will overtake the Council Chambers, where they will hold a public hearing regarding the project plan for TID 7, which is proposed to provide funding to assist with public infrastructure improvements within one-half mile of the boundary of the TID.
They will also review a new draft of the Ordinance for licensing of Short-Term Rental Properties, and will continue their discussions related to the Comprehensive Plan update.
