Several Area Teams Compete in 8th Grade State Tournament

Three local schools competed last weekend in the 8^th Grade Girls State Basketball Tournament, and one of them finished on top.

Valders took 1^st place in the Division-4 field, while Manitowoc Lutheran placed 4^th and Mishicot was 15^th.

The tourney location was split between 3 venues, UW-Stevens Point, Stevens Point Area High School, and Mosinee High School.
