A student at Manitowoc Lincoln High School has been honored for his musical prowess.
Joey O’Connor has received the Wisconsin School Music Association Award for his Composition: In Meadows They Danced.
This major award is the highest honor in the state of Wisconsin for the composition of music.
O’Connor is quite active in other areas as well, as he is a member of the International Baccalaureate Program, which was helping out at Grow it Forward last year.
