A 63-year-old man died after falling into Beaver Creek near the Galesville Mill Dam Sunday afternoon.
Police say life-saving measures failed after Robby Sacia of Galesville was pulled out of the water.
Emergency responders were called shortly before 1:15 p.m.
Authorities say a police officer and a member of the Galesville Area Fire Department were able to find Sacia in the creek and bring him back to shore.
The incident is still under investigation.
