One of the four people arrested for covering up a drug overdose in Brown County has been sentenced.
Emerson Reed will spend 10 years in federal prison for his role in the burning of Stephanie Greenspon’s body in August of 2020.
Her body was found in an abandoned vehicle on the Menomonee Reservation after Reed, Timothy Snider, Keith Wilber, and Kayla Childs had started the vehicle on fire.
As of now, Reed is the only suspect that has been sentenced.
Childs is due back in court for her sentencing on July 7th, while Snider will be in front of a judge on May 6th for his plea hearing.
Charges against Wilber were formally dropped after Wilber died by suicide.
