The Badgers women’s basketball program has received its second verbal commitment from a player in the recruiting class of 2023.
6′ 1″ Leena Patibandla is a multi-sport athlete for Jackson High School in Massillon, Ohio.
She tweeted her college decision Sunday, picking UW over Virginia Tech and others.
Patibandla was selected all-county in volleyball, basketball, and track and field.
She’s ranked the fifth-best player in Ohio for her class.
