It’s the first Monday of the month, which means the Two Rivers City Council will be holding a meeting this evening.
After two public hearings regarding zoning, the Council will give the public time to voice their input.
City Manager Greg Buckley will then introduce Sara Backhaus, the City’s new Municipal Clerk, and honor Dawn Hilliker, who is retiring after 19 years with the city.
The Council will then look over several proposals, including an ordinance that is related to the use of E-bikes, motorized gas-powered bikes, and various types of scooters, and another related to taxi and taxi driver fees.
They will also look over a proposal to amend the sections of the municipal code as it relates to the definitions and restrictions of sex offender residency.
The Council will also continue their discussion regarding matters pertaining to the Community House and the future site of the Cool City Brewing Company.
