Three or four games into the college basketball season it was becoming apparent that Badgers sophomore Johnny Davis might be moving on.
Davis made his declaration for the 2022 NBA Draft Thursday afternoon on ESPN.
He averaged 19.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists a game for Wisconsin.
He was already getting national attention when he lit up Purdue with 37 points during a big victory on the road.
The Boilermakers were ranked number three in the nation at the time.
Some projections have the 6’5″ guard as a lottery pick, but ESPN says he will be taken ninth when the draft is held June 23rd.
