The unemployment rate in Sheboygan County has gone up.
The Department of Workforce Development released its February unemployment report on Wednesday, and the numbers showed a slight jump in the numbers in Sheboygan County.
In January, the county had 1,553 unemployed individuals with an unemployment rate of 2.5%.
The February numbers showed the number of unemployed citizens rose to 1,622, for an unemployment rate of 2.6%.
Statewide, the unemployment rates increased in all but two of Wisconsin’s 72 counties, but that number is down across the board when compared to February 2020’s unemployment numbers.
