A sanitary sewer project in Manitowoc is taking longer than expected, so North 23rd Street will be closed for another day.
Engineering Division Manager Greg Minikel told us that crews also found a second defective section of sanitary sewer, so additional repair work will be conducted today.
The closure will continue to affect the area of North 23rd Street between Rheaume and Granger Roads, with work expected to be completed by the end of the workday, weather permitting.
