Everyone says their product or service is the best, but the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office can say that with facts to back it up.
Their K9 Officers Leon and Rocky competed at the Law Dog Challenge this past weekend in Oconto County.
The K9s took part in events to showcase their skills in searching a building, searching for drugs, and bite apprehension, and K9 Leon was named the Top Overall Dog.
Along with taking home the trophy, the Department’s K9 Unit also received a $2,000 donation from the Karl Zeitler Memorial.
Sheriff Dan Hartwig said in response, “I am extremely proud of the work and quality of our K9’s and officer handlers. We have some great teams that our county can be proud of.”
