Attorneys for the man accused of killing six people at the Waukesha Christmas Parade last year say they won’t be ready for an October trial.
A hearing for Darrell Brooks Junior was held before Waukesha County Judge Jennifer Dorow Tuesday.
The trial is on the court calendar for October 3rd but Brooks’ attorneys say the volume of evidence they have to review means that’s not enough time.
Judge Dorow gave them until Friday to file a motion for the delay.
A hearing already set for the following Monday may be when she decides on the motion for a change of venue.
