The Badgers’ new offensive line coach is moving some players around this spring as he looks for a combination that clicks.
Coach Bob Bostad had led Wisconsin’s inside linebackers since 2017.
When the team resumed spring practice Tuesday last year’s starting right guard Jack Nelson had been moved to left tackle.
Last year’s left tackle starter Tyler Beach was at left guard.
Tano Bortolini was at center while starter Joe Tippmann is out with an injury.
Michael Furtney was at guard and Logan Brown was at tackle on the right side of the line.
When Tippmann returns he will start but Bartolini may be too talented to keep on the bench, which could mean more shuffling.
