Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 40 points and took down 14 rebounds, but it was his block of a Joel Embiid shot in the last two seconds that clinched a 118-116 win for Milwaukee Tuesday night.
The game featured two of the top teams in the N-B-A Eastern Conference.
The Bucks went on a 13-4 run to start the fourth period and took the lead with nine minutes left when Khris Middleton connected on a 3-pointer.
Milwaukee is just a half-game out of first place in the conference standings.
Antetokounmpo’s block was ruled goaltending with 1.6 seconds left.
That would have tied the score at 118-apiece, but a video review overturned the call.
The Bucks return to action at Brooklyn Thursday night.
