Eastern Wisconsin continues to do its part in helping Ukrainians affected by the month-long invasion of their country.
The Green Bay Community Church held a fundraising event yesterday called Make a Loaf, Buy a Loaf, where members of the community brought in loaves of bread for others to buy.
All proceeds from the event, which totaled just shy of $11,000, are going to the World Central Kitchen.
In total, 450 loaves of bread were sold, with most people donating extra to help Ukrainians forced to leave their homes.
It is also being reported that some people even donated an extra $100 bill to the cause.
