A Sheboygan man is facing charges for his role in a fire at a church yesterday morning.
Officers with the Sheboygan Police Department were sent to the church in the 1300 block of Washington Avenue Tuesday morning.
The officers entered the kitchen area, where they found a pair of two-gallon gas cans, along with evidence that someone had attempted to start a fire.
No injuries were reported, but there was minor fire damage in the kitchen.
Details of what led police to the unidentified 32-year-old man were not released, but we do know that arson charges are being referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office.
