A fire in Sheboygan caused around $35,000 in damage to a home early Monday morning.
Sheboygan Fire received the call at around 3:00 a.m. Monday before responding to a house in the 1800 block of Saemann Avenue. The only occupant of the home met officials at the front of the building.
The fire was located on the second-floor ceiling after fire crews found smoke on the second floor and in the attic. They were able to extinguish the fire by merely using one hose line.
The aforementioned occupant has been displaced with the cause of the fire being deemed an “electrical failure.” No one was injured.
