A Manitowoc woman is facing charges after she allegedly cut a man with a kitchen knife during an argument.
Officers with the Manitowoc Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 1000 block of South 12th Street just before 10:30 a.m. Saturday on a Family Trouble call.
When they arrived, they found the man and woman outside of the residence, and the man showed them a wound he had received during the scuffle.
The duo admitted to getting into a verbal argument.
The 19-year-old woman was reportedly cutting food with a kitchen knife when the argument began, and the man said he believed the woman was going to stab him.
He went to grab the knife from her, resulting in him being cut.
The woman told police that she was simply pulling the knife away from him and did not intend on cutting him.
While being booked into the County Jail, the woman was also found to have a baggie of marijuana hidden on her person.
She has been charged with Disorderly Conduct with a Domestic Violence Enhancer, Delivering Articles to an Inmate, and Felony Bail Jumping.
