Major League Baseball’s decision to play a 162-game season means at least 30 doubleheaders and one series tacked onto the end of the year in October.
The two Brewers series wiped out by Commissioner Rob Manfred during collective bargaining agreement talks were to be played against the Arizona Diamondbacks and the San Francisco Giants.
The games against the Giants will be played on what were originally going to be off dates – one game on April 25th and a doubleheader on September 8th.
The three-game series against the Diamondbacks will be added to the final homestand from October 3rd through the 5th.
